Colin Fortes, CEO
Colin is an experienced lawyer and professor who brings a wealth of knowledge to Ashton Education as he oversees the organization’s strategic direction. Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Colin studied law and graduated from the School of Law and the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town. He moved to North America to teach International Business Law to MBA students at City University of Seattle. Colin then moved to Vancouver where he practised corporate and real estate law for both international and domestic clients before joining the team at Ashton College. As a key driver of the success with Ashton Education, Colin also serves as the President of Ashton College and has spearheaded many of the positive changes within the organization. Colin is married and has three children.
Jane Chang, COO
Having been in the education field for more than 20 years, Jane enjoys taking a leadership role and looking towards new horizons for Ashton Education. These skills come naturally to Jane with her background managing businesses in hospitality, retail and international trade. She has also studied Fashion Merchandising, Sales, Marketing and graduated from the Executive Management Program at Simon Fraser University. Jane has contributed to the long-standing success of Ashton College, and is now bringing her skills and expertise to Ashton Education. A creative at heart, Jane enjoys interior design and other inventive pursuits in her spare time.
